Extraction of the baby teeth is recommended in cases when they are swinging, before the regular replacement, when they are disturbing the growth of the permanent teeth or in situations when they cause frequent infections followed by pain, temperature and swelling in the teeth area that can extend to a particular part of the face.
Early extraction of the baby teeth leads to lack of space needed for the growth of the permanent teeth, as well as difficulties in the later development period of the individual, as the baby teeth are also important as space keepers. It is recommended that the baby teeth that have been infected and properly cured up to a stable phase, are also kept.
